Quick Easy Chocolate Fudge

Today I celebrate 75 days without chocolate and I’m really pleased that I have managed to do so well considering demolishing 5 or 6 bars a day was never a big deal for me. To celebrate I’d like to share a recipe of mine that’s sinfully chocolatey and really very easy to make. You need only 3 ingredients and it won’t break your bank to make this.

You will need:

375g dark chocolate (even milk will do if that’s all you have at home)

1 tin (400g) sweetened condensed milk

50g unsalted butter

chopped nuts (optional)

Method:

Put all the ingredients in a glass Pyrex bowl. No need to mix anything at all.

Stick it into the microwave for about 3 minutes on full power.

Remove quickly, stir really well with a metal spoon and pour into pre-prepared tin that’s been lined with greaseproof paper.

Spread evenly and allow to refrigerate for at least one hour (or more if you can resist the temptation that long)

Turn out and cut into pieces and ENJOY!

I seriously have no idea how long this fudge can last because it never went beyond two days when I made it. I reckon it will keep for a week in an airtight container stored in the fridge. It tastes great with a cup of coffee…

    1. You can melt everything in a non-stick pan if you don’t have a microwave. Remember chocolate curdles if it comes in contact with water when being heated so you have to keep stirring continuously and avoid condensation.
Let me know how it turns out.
      Thanks.
