The Yellow Butterfly

A butterfly flew into my car in Lavington. I stopped the car and opened the windows, waiting for it to fly out and it didn’t. I drove with the windows down and it still didn’t fly out. Eventually I couldn’t see it so I thought it might have flown out.

I came all the way to Kiambu and just as I was getting out of the car, I spotted it again. It still didn’t fly out despite gently blowing on it, and leaving the car doors open. I stood around waiting. I don’t even know why. Then, suddenly it flew out and went towards the plants near the front door.

If you think this is going to take a dramatic twist, I’m afraid you’re going to be disappointed. I took a few more pictures then went in to get on with my work.

Yes. I thought quite a bit of what it might have signified and I’m right in thinking that a butterfly just wandered into my car. 🦋
