Fashion High Tea 2019

I am always honoured with a very gracious invitation to the Zen Garden’s annual Fashion High Tea event by Payal and Shivani. They’re not strangers to many of us; their warmth, fabulous style, and smiles are their signature greetings.

I received my invitation delivered to me with a decadent cake. I’ll have you know that every year there’s something fabulous that accompanies that invitation card and my kids always squeal like little piggies at the excitement of it all!

By the way, I fell in love with the origami on the cake box. So beautiful!

I teetered into Zen Gardens on Saturday in my heels and fascinator, all set to enjoy the wonderful event that I’ve really come to enjoy annually.

You know what delights me THE MOST when I get to this event? The décor! Every year, it’s something so beautiful, eye-catching and unique.

I grabbed a drink and walked around kissing my hellos, enjoying the sights and sounds around me, watching people dressed to the nines getting their pictures taken against lovely backdrops, retail therapy going on in full swing, bottomless drinks and endless array of food.

The tickets were for Ksh 6500/- inclusive of Tanqueray, CIROC, Don Julio & Singleton Cocktails, @tuskermalt @slaterandwhittaker wines & @zengardenkenya High Tea Spread, @haagendazskenya, @brownsfoodco, @the_wine_company with a Designer Fashion Show & Entertainment.

Well worth the amount and then some!

I bought myself two outfits that I didn’t know I needed but now I realise that life would have actually been empty without them so it’s a win-win situation for me because I have two weddings coming up that I have to attend and my outfits are already sorted. The satisfaction in that is immense!

I’m a fan of the Zen Garden Fashion High Tea. I love catching up with many friends, I make new friends and I also behave all sorts of happy when I’m let loose in front of the photo booth!
