Last week, my son asked me if he could have Gatorade and I told him he could if he used his own money. I was banking on the fact he might have spent all his allowance so would be broke. He didn't get the drink but bought me this lovely mug as a present. I asked him why he didn't get the drink and he said I'd make the mug last forever and think of only him when I had my tea in it everyday. 😍😘 I was having a terrible day but his thoughtful gesture turned it around. Whenever I say I'd like to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower someone always tells me that it's all just a hyped up place & that I should visit somewhere 'better'. I just remain quiet. I'm reminded of a French movie I saw while stuck in my hotel room one rainy afternoon while at a roadshow in Mombasa. It was about a woman who had always wanted to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower. Eventually after a lot of hardships, she left her husband and went on her own, thus liberating herself. After watching that movie (I can't even remember the name after all these years) I always told myself that I'd go to Paris. I will go to Paris. I am going to go Paris. I want to go to Paris.
