I have heard that strange dreams are a voice of your unconscious mind (or is it subconscious…?) and I’ve been questioning my state of mind of late with the dreams I’ve been having. The latest one starred no other than the very famous Amitabh Bachchan.

So here’s the scenario – I’m in the studio at work sitting outside where the boss’s office is, doing my thing and I look at my watch and realise it’s time to go in for my show. I go into the broadcasting studio and I find a gentleman with his back towards the door, obviously in some kind of an interview and a colleague of mine is fluttering her lovely long eyelashes at him and being very lovely and respectful of this guest who, as you might have guessed by now, was no other than Amitabh Bachchan.

I place my bag on the shelf below the huge flat screen TV and he turns to look at me and he stands up and hugs me and asks me where have I been all this time. i can sense some renewed respect from all my colleagues who are suddenly stuffed in the studio and are clamoring to me to make an introduction to ‘Amit Uncle’ which, to me, borders on incest because I have NEVER looked at my hero as an uncle!

Anyway, he then tells my colleague he is done with the interview as he has to go somewhere with me and we have a presentation to make at an another function so we take leave and it’s like the sea parted when everyone moved aside to make way for this magnificent man who wanted to pass through.

We go downstairs and suddenly we’re at a car showroom where I am being presented with the key to my dream car – a Range Rover Sport in shiny black and a cream suede interior. I’m not really sure when or where the superstar made his exit from my dream but I did wake up with a feel good factor.



Now… does anyone know what my subconscious mind is telling me?
