Here’s a quick and easy recipe. No fuss, no special ingredients, nothing that’ll take too long.
CHICKEN SAUSAGE & CHEESE BRAIDED PIE
I tube ready rolled puff pastry
8 chicken sausages, cooked and sliced half lengthways
I teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon Sriracha or any chilli sauce
100g grated mozzarella
Spread rolled pastry sheet on greased baking tray. Brush the middle part of the pastry with the mustard and sauce.
Lay out sliced sausages in the middle. Add abundant cheese.
Cut thin strips of pastry on the two edges then fold over in crisscross fashion. Brush with a bit of oil.
If you looooove cheese, add more grated cheese on top.
Bake for 22 minutes at 220degC.
Enjoy it hot. Serve with a garden salad.
