Tuna Apple Bites

Easy to make in minutes, satisfying, and yummy too! Try this easy recipe that can be served as an appetiser or as a light lunch.


Tune Apple Bites


2 medium red apples

1 tin tuna fish in brine, drained

1/2 white onion, finely chopped

1/2 tomato, finely chopped

Few sprigs of coriander, finely chopped

2 tablespoonfuls garlic mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon Sriracha or Tabasco, optional


Slice the apples into wheels and gently pry out the core without cutting the apple.

Mix all other ingredients, then put about a tablespoon worth on each apple slice.

Garnish with a bit of coriander and Sriracha.

May be made ahead and refrigerated for a couple of hours.
