I am what I am

Imagine shaming someone because they donโ€™t look like you or donโ€™t fit your stereotype of โ€˜perfectโ€™.

I am what I am. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Iโ€™ve spent decades of my life worrying about what others think of me. I have done myself a disservice. Time to fix that.

I guess Iโ€™ve finally reached a point in life where I donโ€™t care what anyone thinks of my body.

Body shamers are all over the place. Just because you donโ€™t look like them, they feel thereโ€™s something wrong with you.

Thereโ€™s nothing wrong with you.

Itโ€™s them and their perceptions that need correcting.

In fact, if people minded their own business, we would all really flourish.

It has taken me years not to be conscious of my stretch marks, the scars on my body, the not-so-smooth skin, crooked teeth, slight squint, and so much else the world deems as imperfect.

Donโ€™t allow their opinions to think any less of yourself.

Thatโ€™s all. ๐Ÿ’ž
