This isn’t exactly calzone but it is an experiment that doesn’t have pineapple in it…
Pizza dough (please make it beforehand)
1 jar pizza sauce
1 small onion, chopped
5 mushrooms, chopped
3 slices ham, chopped (optional)
150gm grated cheese (add more if you like!)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Divide the dough into twelve. Roll out and keep aside.
Brush an ovenproof dish with a little oil.
Preheat oven to 180degC
In the rolled out dough, spread a teaspoon of pizza sauce.
Add the chopped ingredients.
Seal into a bun and place into greased dish.
Brush with oil and sprinkle oregano on top.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Eat hot! I served these buns with vegetable soup.
