Oats and Strawberry Smoothie

Here a quick and delicious breakfast smoothie.

In fact, why limit it to breakfast? It’s great for when you’re hungry but have no time to cook.

It’s filling and very delicious.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup quick oats

1 handful fresh strawberries

1 cup milk (I used rice milk)

1 teaspoon honey (or more if you want it sweeter)

Dash of vanilla essence

METHOD:

Blitz all the ingredients together until smooth. Add ice cubes in a tall glass. Pour mixture. Enjoy!

(Recyclable straw optional)

*If you’re being extra healthy, you can add a scoop of protein powder to the mixture.

*If the mixture becomes too thick, thin it out with either milk or water.
